It’s a little less in-your-face now than it was when the BBC suddenly ‘got’ the web a few years back, and started doing things like having its presenters quote the programme URL at every conceivable opportunity. Anyone else remember those who said “forward slash” while others stuck with “forward stroke” (or should I get out more)?
But the Corporation’s thorough approach to linking across its various media channels is an absolute model for the rest of us. Do they have the equivalent of a style-book, I wonder? We need to find out more about it all.
