The social experience of searching for, finding and using resources – keeping up to date with what you've found

In any project, questions about scope keep on surfacing. I know full well how easy it is for the thing to expand (until in the proverbial project balloon, you are faced with rising ground (a deadline that is inescapable) and have to jettison ballast in a panic – when you realise you have just thrown all your water over the side).

‘Social’ could be something that we have to be a bit deliberate about, I wonder? I hadn’t wanted this to be so, thinking that we should tackle it at the start, but then I thought about the balance between information collection + organisation + making it available (‘us’) and imaginative presentation (‘others’).

Is ‘social’ (feedback, commentary, experience) part of what happens after the data has been made available, and as such done better by others? I don’t have a view really (yet) but think it’s an important question, close to where our (the project’s) heart is.
